Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for the data processing described here is:
Korner Studio Sàrl
Impasse des Amandiers 4
1585 Salavaux VD, Switzerland
Email: privacy@helfin.ch
For any question about your data or this policy, write to the email above.
2. What we collect, and why
On this website we collect personal data in one situation: when you choose to join the early-access list. The data is:
- Name — so we can address you personally.
- Email address — to contact you when early access opens and to send occasional helfin updates.
- Phone number — so we can reach you about early access where useful.
We collect this data only when you enter it and tick the consent box. We do not buy data about you, and we do not build profiles of you.
The interactive demo
The QR-bill and ledger demo on this site runs entirely in your browser. The sample figures you adjust are not sent to us or stored anywhere. The demo loads a QR-code library from a content-delivery network (cdnjs), which — like any web request — may process your IP address to deliver the file. We do not receive that information.
3. Legal basis and purpose
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / nLPD), we process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box before submitting the form. The purpose is limited to:
- informing you when helfin early access becomes available;
- sending occasional, relevant helfin updates;
- contacting you about your interest in the product.
You can withdraw your consent at any time (see §6 and §7). Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.
4. Where the data is processed
Your early-access data stays in Switzerland. We use Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland) for everything behind this site:
- Website hosting — serving these pages and processing the usual server and connection data (such as IP addresses) needed to deliver the site.
- The early-access list and emails — storing your name, email and phone number, and sending you early-access and update messages.
Infomaniak hosts its infrastructure in Switzerland and acts as our processor, under our instructions. This means your early-access data is not transferred outside Switzerland, and is not handed to any other company.
Website analytics — only if you accept
To understand how this page is used and which channels bring visitors here, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC (United States). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and referral source.
This happens only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics data is collected.
If you accept, some data is transferred to Google in the United States. We rely on your consent as the legal basis for this, and on the contractual and legal safeguards Google applies to such transfers. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see §6).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it beyond the providers named here.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your early-access data until helfin launches and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent — whichever comes first. After that, we delete it from our active systems.
6. Cookies and consent
This pre-launch site uses two kinds of cookies:
- Necessary — a small amount of storage needed for the site and the early-access form to work, and to remember your cookie choice. These are always active and set no tracking.
- Analytics (Google Analytics) — set only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. They help us measure how the page is used and which ads bring visitors. If you decline or ignore the banner, these are never set.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies beyond the Google Analytics use described above.
Withdrawing your consent: if you accepted analytics and want to withdraw, clear this site's data in your browser. The cookie banner will appear again, and analytics will stay off unless you accept once more.
7. Your rights
Under the FADP you have the right to:
- ask whether we process data about you, and request a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us directly;
- object to the processing of your data.
To exercise any of these, contact us at privacy@helfin.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / PFPDT), www.edoeb.admin.ch.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and we ask you to keep this in mind when sharing data online.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as helfin develops — for example when the product itself launches. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top.
